We are conveniently situated between Benson and Ewelme villages within 3 miles of Wallingford and 10 miles from Henley-on-Thames. Oxford is just a 15 minute drive to the Park and Ride or is serviced by a regular bus from Benson.
Our family run guesthouse is accommodated in a twelfth century manor house with early eighteenth century panelling and a mid-nineteenth century façade. Over the last 20 years it has been totally restored and refurbished uncovering many features which had been hidden for over 250 years. The Cloisters represents the architecture and environmental concerns of the 21st century.

Fyfield is essentially a family home set in beautiful natural gardens. Our warm and friendly B/B is suitable for both business people or tourists alike. WiFi internet access is available free of charge.
In the main house we offer three large period bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Each room is of a different period and is decorated and furnished accordingly while maintaining all modern comforts. Full English breakfast of local and organic produce is served in the stunning medieval dining room which is said to be the oldest domestic building in Oxfordshire and dates back to 1140.
We pride ourselves on running an environmentally friendly bed and breakfast, sourcing local produce and using energy saving products. We provide comprehensive information on the frequent local transport. The Thames travel X40 bus from Benson is an excellent service between Oxford and Reading. Also there is now a great service to Henley on the 33 bus which goes just a few minutes walk from Fyfield. Don’t forget your bus pass if you have one and travel free! The nearest train station is Cholsey which is approx 3 miles away.
Our guesthouse is an ideal base for visiting National Trust properties: Waddesden Manor, Greys Court, Basildon Park (where Pride and Prejudice was filmed) Claydon House and Clivedon. Also perfectly situated for visiting the locations of the Midsomer Murders at Dorchester, Wallingford , Warborough and many other local spots.
Benson is close to Oxford with easy access to the M4, M40 and Heathrow Airport. There is easy access to London. It's an ideal resting place if you're walking the Thames Path or the Ridgway. Henley-on-Thames is just 15 minutes drive.
